Background Information
Violet's tale began with a heartless act – before resorting to such an unthinkable abandonment, her previous owner attempted to pawn off Violet and her companions onto their neighbors. Sadly, that was the extent of their efforts to rehome these innocent bunnies before resorting to putting them outside their front door. This left them vulnerable, scared, and facing death as they don’t have the ability to survive on their own. This heartbreaking act of neglect was met with the determination of concerned members of the community who recognized the urgency of the situation and reached out to us for help. They understood that these innocent lives deserved a chance at happiness, a proper home, safety and medical care which we could provide in a rescue setting.
Despite the odds, Violet's rescue was a success! With only our owner being available at the time, this was a one woman rescue mission. She was rescued and brought to safety, where she could finally experience the warmth of a loving environment. This courageous bunny quickly captured the hearts of those around her with her gentle nature and unbreakable spirit.
Today, Violet is thriving under the watchful eyes of compassionate fosters, surrounded by care, love, and the promise of a brighter future.
