Background Information:
Harry and Narcissa were surrendered into our care with her siblings, mom, and other rabbit friends. They were part of 12 rabbits who were surrendered due to requiring immediate medical attention from a hoarding situation. Their mom, Bellatrix, had 6 of her own babies and 2 surrogates – Hermione and Harry. All adults came to the rescue with an upper respiratory infection while all rabbits were malnourished, on an extremely incorrect diet (Potato peels and cheap adult pellets. No proper diet for babies), no free roam, caged with other unfixed rabbits leading into fights/injuries, cockroaches crawling everywhere, nothing was ever cleaned, etc.
Due to being on an incorrect diet their mom was not able to produce enough milk to sustain them. They were also not receiving enough calcium in their diet to help them grow. Thankfully at 3 weeks of age they came into our care and were able to receive medical attention and proper care so that they could thrive as adults.
About Narcissa:
Narcissa is very shy but also very curious. She is not interested being in a home with a larger dog and will actively show her dislike towards them. They are litter trained but may see a stray poop or two here or there but overall amazing! She is very energetic, loves to play and run around like a maniac. Her favorite treat is apples! She would love to be in a forever home where she can be 100% free roam. Narcissa needs lots of stimulation so that she isn't naughty.
About Harry:
Harry is extremely friendly, wishes to be the center of attention and will even push Narcissa out of the way to get there. They are litter trained but may see a stray poop or two here or there but overall amazing! Harry is very food motivated more then anything in the world, he will get right under your feet if it's not given to him fast enough. He gets quite sassy if he doesn't get what he wants when he wants it and will even let you know with a stomp or two. He needs lots of stimulation so that she isn't naughty.

Harry has Megacolon
What does this mean currently and long-term?
Harry is genetically predisposed to Megacolon. We are able to tell this by his facial markings, his broken butterfly is an indication of this and him entering into episodes was confirmation.
Harry is able to manage his symptoms through diet alone. He is on a diet of mainly hay and lettuce. If he goes into an episode he will need pain and motility meds and he comes out of it. Currently he is doing so well and has not had an episode since we learned he has Megacolon and changed his diet, Long term if episodes become frequent he will need to stay on Cisapride.

What is a Broken Butterfly
A broken butterfly is the marking that goes across their nose, when the pattern stops at any place across the nose it is considered a broken butterfly.
What Megacolon looks like:
A typical episode for Harry typically lasts around 2 weeks. Thankfully his symptoms are able to be managed with diet alone.
